The australian armour & artillery museum has the largest collection of armoured vehicles and artillery in the southern hemisphere. While visitors to the museum often enquire about the leopard tanks (they can’t get one), the tiger ww11 german tank (they are currently building a replica) and the sherman tank (getting one later this year), there are many other amazing pieces to see. If you look closely on picture 2 you will see the remains of 5 original “kill rings”. Australia has gotten their first real tiger 1 tank in australia, located only in cairns. We have commenced putting our tiger i hull together, as you can see the left and right sides are new along with part of. Our tiger 1 mantlet and barrel is now on display at aaam.
